Patty Stone: Patricia Stone.
Sgt. Mercer: You were contacted regarding Dr. Barry Raven’s disappearance. I need to ask what you know about his intended travel or field plans.
Patty Stone: I don’t know anything about where he was going.
Sgt. Mercer: Was he scheduled for any research travel or fieldwork with you, Hazel Donne, or Billy Donne?
Patty Stone: No. Not with me.
Sgt. Mercer: Do you know if he mentioned a destination on June thirteenth?
Patty Stone: No.
Sgt. Mercer: Anyone else who might?
Patty Stone: You should ask Hazel. If anyone would know, it would be Hazel.
Sgt. Mercer: Why do you believe Ms. Donne would have that information?
Patty Stone: Because she just would.
Sgt. Mercer: That is not a sufficient explanation, Ms. Stone.
Patty Stone: I don’t know what you want me to say.
Sgt. Mercer: I want you to explain your statement.
Patty Stone: It’s between her and Jesus.

Patty Stone: I mean I’m not getting in the middle of it.
Sgt. Mercer: In the middle of what, exactly?
Patty Stone: Whatever she’s got going on with him.
Sgt. Mercer: “Him” meaning Dr. Raven?
Patty Stone: Yeah.
Sgt. Mercer: Are you implying there was a personal relationship between Ms. Donne and Dr. Raven?
Patty Stone: I’m not implying anything. I’m saying you should ask her.
Sgt. Mercer: Have you observed anything that would suggest an inappropriate relationship or conflict?
Patty Stone: I’ve observed enough to know I’m not answering this.
Sgt. Mercer: Ms. Stone, this is a missing person investigation.
Patty Stone: I understand that.
Sgt. Mercer: Then you understand why your cooperation matters.
Patty Stone: I told you what I know. He didn’t show up. I don’t know where he went. And Hazel is the one you should be talking to.
Sgt. Mercer: Why are you reluctant to discuss her involvement?
Patty Stone: Because it’s not my place.
Sgt. Mercer: Is there anything else you can provide regarding Dr. Raven’s movements or state of mind prior to June thirteenth?
Patty Stone: No.
Sgt. Mercer: Final question—do you have any reason to believe he is alive and simply delayed?
